Cadel Evans Road Race is set to ignite Geelong from 26-28 January 2024
Cadel Evans achieved his ultimate in 2011, becoming Australia’s only Tour de France winner. He has been promoting gender equality and health through cycling. Talking about the partnership,
“Mapei supported me throughout my career, from joining the Mapei-Quickstep Cycling Team at the Mapei Sport Centre in Italy under the supervision of Professor Aldo Sassi, former Director of Mapei Sport Research Centre, who made such a key contribution to my career including my win in the 2011 Tour de France. This year, gearing up for the eighth edition of the cycling event, Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race returns to Velo Village in Geelong to create a weekend-long festival atmosphere. Mapei will be an Official Partner of this not-to-be-missed event, which will be a great opportunity to celebrate the company's 30 years of passion for the world of cycling.
