City Centre Sharjah - Revamped to Impress

City Centre Sharjah attracts over 11 million people each year and is one of the largest retail malls in the Emirate. With a brand new retail mix of 143 value-oriented and fashionable international stores, different eating concepts, and Sharjah's first 12-screen VOX Cinemas with GOLD by Rhodes for a premium moviegoing experience, the mall provides an upgraded and holistic customer experience. A Magic Planet family facility and ten fast food outlets round up the mall's leisure and entertainment offerings, establishing City Centre Sharjah as one of the region's leading shopping destinations for smart shopping, diverse cuisines, and distinctive entertainment for locals and visitors alike.

The mall was recently redeveloped and expanded, with Mapei playing a significant role. They helped build stronger wall coverings and external thermal insulation systems, with Mapelastic Smart and Mapei Quarzolite Tonachino. 

Mapetherm Net & Mapnet 150, an alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh was reinforced to protect skimming layers and thermal insulation systems. 

Finally, Mapetherm AR1, a one-component cementitious mortar was used for bonding and levelling insulation panels and for thermal insulation systems.
